From 13 to 27 July Santceloni travels to Barcelona
In the heart of the Paseo de la Castellana, inside the Hotel Hesperia in Madrid, Santceloni has been making lovers of gastronomy happy since 2001. The project initiated by the late Santi Santamaría was presented as the most ambitious in Madrid. And so it is: the same year of its opening was recognized with a Michelin star and two years later he doubled the award with a biestrellato that he keeps today.
The chef Óscar Velasco, the Sala Director Abel Valverde, the sommelier David Robledo and the Chef Pastelera Montse Abellá keep the legacy that they themselves initiated with the common bond of their passage through Can Fabes, in the Montseny, the first three Michelin stars of Catalonia. The three are National Award of Gastronomy in their specialty and have managed to find the balance to turn Santceloni into a temple of elegant and refined cuisine at the service of the best product, with a service that borders on perfection and a winery that holds more than 1,200 references of the best denominations in the whole world.
To speak of Santceloni means to mention a kitchen of perfect balance between tradition and modernity. An ode to taste with well-assembled dishes and impeccable technique. Creativity, respect for the product and close and friendly treatment make up the experience that for many is the best restaurant in Madrid that now also travels to Barcelona.
